Landscape of Earth and Sky - Moon and Earth's Shadow

This is my image showcasing the beautiful rural landscape, right after sunset. The (1 day before) full moon rises, and the skies are crystal clear. Even though the weather was perfect that night, the moon phase wasn't the most appropriate for Deep Sky Astrophotography. However, beauty is always in the sky, as this image depicts.

Please do note that this image also shows a little bit of our own planet's shadow, right above the horizon, it appears as a darker region. And above the Earth's Shadow, it is possible to see the so called Belt of Venus, as a reddish/orangeish glow. The tree that is highlited is a a species of pine, that's relatively commom in Brazil and in MG, but is more frequently found in the southernmost regions of the country, as the "Paraná pine". In Portuguese, the tree is commonly known as "Araucária", and its cientific name is Araucaria angustifolia.

This image is actually a panorama of two frames. Processing was entirely done in Adobe Lightroom CC (2015 version), using its RAW tools, adjusting white balance, contrast and exposure; and finally merged into a panorama using its own "Photomerge" tool in Lightroom itself.

Taken from Cristina, MG, Brazil. Thanks for seeing.
