Description

The Cygnus Loop is 2,400 Ly from Earth according to the Wiki and is a Supernova Remnant.

All data for this 9-panel mosaic project was captured during the months of June and July 2019. A total of 675 frames captured. This mosaic contains the feature of Western Veil, Eastern Veil, Pickering's Triangle and South Eastern Knot.

Data consists of nine nights of 75 frames per night of SHO data 210s each at a gain of 200. I extracted a SynthL to process and reintegrate back into the mosaic during the final processing.

This was a long project to create a mosaic of this region and finally had the chance to finish it. I might try my hand at an HOO version soon with this data.
