Description

I shot this in a "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" sort of a moment. It was the middle of the night and my OAG was misconfigured (due to my own buffoonery). Rather than go outside and try to fix it in the dark, I decided to see what I could shoot unguided. I figured that M13 was bright enough that I could shoot short exposures and still get something out of the deal. So this is about 3 hours of 30-second exposures at a focal length of 1477 mm (about f/7) through my C8 with Starizona SCT reducer/corrector. Shot under Bortle 4 skies in the mountains of Colorado at 8400 feet above sea level.
