Description

Messier 33, the Triangulum Galaxy. It's part of our Local Group and is the second-closest spiral galaxy to us, after Andromeda. It's about half the size of the Milky Way but has strong star formation.

I took this from a dark sky location with a 100mm refractor with a 900mm focal length. This is 135 2-minute subframes. It was processed in Astro Pixel Processor and Adobe Lightroom. It was fairly windy, which caused a little bit of elongation of the stars but overall I think it turned out well. Any feedback on the post-processing or presentation is welcome.
