Description

IC 63 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia . This nebula and the reflection nebula IC 59 are located near the bright star Gamma Cassiopeiae . Physically speaking, the star is only 3 to 4 light years away from the nebulae. IC 63 is somewhat closer to γ ​​Cas and glows predominantly in red H-alpha light.
