Description

My first attempt at shooting an image using a dual narrow band filter, the one I used being the Askar Colour Magic D1 (Ha and Oiii) filter. Before I have only used an Optolong L-Pro or ZWO UV/IR cut filter.

As I had Ha and OIII data to play with, the next question I had was how to process it!  I could have done HOO, but after watching @Paul Hancock  (PaulymanAstro) on YouTube, I decided to give his Foraxx palette script he uses a go, and here is the result after a bit more tweeking in PinInsight.  I really like the way the image has come out, with the reds/yellows of the Flaming Star in contrast to the white of the Tadpole nebula....and you can really see the tadpoles!!
