Description

The night of 21st November was clear all night here and as I waited for my H-Alpha targets (almost full Moon) to rise I took short exposures of Neptune and Uranus hoping to show their retrograde motions over two nights as the next night was forecast partially clear. Uranus didn't make the second night due to cloud but Neptune did You can see Triton in the second frame particulary well, the first frame the seeing was very bad so only just visible.

Revision B is a timelapse of the whole night form dusk to dawn with an old DMK camera and a wide angle lens, one 4s image taken every minute. I use this camera to monitor sky conditions as I'm imaging (The quality is reduced due to download limitations)

A bit of fun away from the serious business of imaging

Clear skies,
Rob
