Description

This came to my attention by happenstance, as I was searching for some elusive target high in Draco with Cartes du Ciel zooming in and out around the dragon's head. Zooming in it appeared, humongous, zooming out it disappeared, sure sign of faint target. Then I realised that this was the Draco's Dwarf a faint and small satellite globular galaxy to our own, with a lot of old, metal-poor stars and very little in terms of dust. Hence the appearance of a rather dense star cluster (which is what it was thought of being in the earliest times).
