Description

The North America Nebula (NGC 7000 or Caldwell 20) is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, close to Deneb. The remarkable shape of the nebula resembles that of the continent of North America, complete with a prominent Gulf of Mexico.

With my week-long run at NGC7000 complete, this is my first image with the full data set. I combined SII and HA (50/50) on the red channel and HA and OIII (20/80) on the green channel. Blue is only OIII. I really like this blend of colors as it usually provide a little more natural color combination than SHO but this iteration still has a preponderance of blue and orange.
