Description

Messier 1 (Crab Nebula, NGC1952) is a supernova remnant in Taurus located about 6,500 light years away. The actual supernova event was seen and recorded by Chinese astronomers in 1054.



Taken over 3 nights of December 23-25, 2013 from the San Francisco Bay Area.



Total integration: 710 mins (11 hr 50 mins)
