Description

Thought I'd add some Hα to my recent Helix Nebula image. Focused and synched on Altair, then did the long goto even before the Helix cleared the mountainside. I waited for it to rise and lo and behold, it was in the field of view! Clear and cool weather, little or no wind, and more careful east weighting of my mount, so much better guiding performance than I had when I took the RGB data. Started the session and went to bed. Had some trouble getting flats because the sky brightness was changing rapidly as I shot them.
