Description

This area got my attention because of the variety of objects offer an interesting view. This specific field spanning from IC 348 to NGC 1333 appeared a perfect fit to the FSQ85's 455mm focal length in combination with a full frame sensor. But i wasn't sure i could capture this wide band target well. After all, my backyard is Bortle 5-6. But when i had collected around seven hours i stacked what i had then and was encouraged to continue and acquire more. A few clear nights in January eventually let me boost my integration time to ~26hrs. So, that is what got (one of my rare images with no NB contribution).
Data acquired between Oct.'23 and Jan.'24.

Thx and CS, John

P.S.: The indents visible at large bright stars are the 'signature' of the FSQ-85EDX.
