Description

I ran across this old data I collected back in 2008 at the Sherzer Observatory. I was using my then unmodified 350D connected to EMU's Astro Physics 10" apo refractor at prime focus. This yields an effective focal length of just over 3500mm. This image was made from jpg data and very limited total integration. I hope to get back to the "O" again in the next year to visit this target again. Perhaps collecting 5-7hrs of RGB plus a bunch of HA and OIII data will help this image out a lot.

I should mention that the scope was not guided during the sub exposures. The Byers mount is absolutely dead on and I have actually done 20 minute exposures on my 35mm film camera with not drift or periodic error present.
