Description

NGC 6886 is a smalll planetary nebula in the constellation Sagitta. I don't know how Copeland discovered this nebula in 1884... it's just so tiny! It could fit in the palm of your hand. I've done these tiny nebulae before (a la the Stingray and Hen 2-47) but how something this small was discovered using 1884 technology is kinda mind boggling. This nebula has no popular name. I'd call it the "Monkey Ears" nebula for no real reason.
