Description

Lens is stopped down to F5.0.

Inspired by msmythers' processing of my image (http://www.astrobin.com/239489/0/), I decide to add a more strongly enhanced version (ver. B). When I took this picture, the goal was to reproduce the the sky that I saw with my naked eye: the wide field, the stars, and the gentle touch of the winter Milky Way. I therefore did not plan to strongly process this picture. However, msmythers' processing reminds me how rich this area of sky can be and what a carefully planned+executed image can capture. It is a shame not to show the rich nebulosity in this picture. Then ver. B was born.

Enjoy, and don't forget to look at the high-resolution versions.
