Description

All you have to do is point at Alnitak to find the Flame Nebula. Good conditions tonight. Chiller beginning at 1 °C. No dither. I expect I'll probably lose tracking about 3 hours into this just like I did for the Horsehead last night, but don't know how to fix it. (I didn’t lose tracking this time. I think loosening up the worm gear a bit improved it enough I didn’t lose it, although it still degraded after passing the meridian. It’s almost certainly a balance issue.) I was surprised I couldn't pull out a little more detail. I could certainly brighten this more.
