Description

IC 443, known as the Jellyfish Nebula, is a supernova remnant in the constellation Gemini. Spanning an area larger than the full moon, it is believed to be 5000 light years away from earth and thus roughly 70 light years across. I am fascinated by its filamentary structure and glowing hydrogen streaming across space.
