Description

My first look at a less-frequently imaged, pretty little galaxy. Took these subframes a couple of weeks ago and have been so busy with new responsibilities at work that I have not processed them until now. The objective here was to use my new Windows 10 virtual machine. This was a complete rebuild of the Windows side of my software (almost all acquisition and guiding stuff, plus Deep Sky Stacker). It’s a little more lean and mean than the older Windows 7 setup I’ve been using, but likely I don’t have all the settings quite at optimum. It was a toss-up whether the Deep Sky Stacker or the Nebulosity version was better, but I went with the DSS stack.
