Description

Since two years I am struggling to process the Ring Nebulae image. I dont know how to display correctly the nice saturated color of the nebula (image B) and at the same time the extensions (image A).

The frames at FD = 10 are just background limited at 1200 s with the LPV4 filter.

Pre-processing done in Pixinsight :
- overscan area offset correction
- bias correction
- flat correction
- hot pixel correction
- debayer
- registration
- stack
Processing done in Pixinsight :
- color calibration using stars
- residual sky background substraction
- green neutral
- slight deconvolution
- cosmetic correction of satuated pixel in the ring nebuale
- converted to non linear image
- the nebulae was corrected using curves transformation
- color sat applied
- blue adjusted

Final image :
- jpeg calibration done in Mac Photo
