Description

NGC206 is a star forming region of the Andromeda galaxy (M31) containing hundreds of very bright young stars. At this scale, to capture all of the Andromeda galaxy would require 20 to 30 frames. I did this image mainly to test my mount after replacing a burnt out motor. I am going to revisit this region with a much longer LRGB image. A high resolution image is available at the NOAO site: https://www.noao.edu/image_gallery/html/im1176.html.

Revision: Added flats and noise reduction.
