Description

The Triangulum Galaxy, also known as M33, is a spiral galaxy aproximately 3 million light-years from Earth. It is the third largest of the local group of galaxies, behind the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy. It can be viewed with the naked eye from a dark sky location, and as such is one of most distant permanent objects visible with the naked eye.
