Description

Vega is a star very similar to the sun in the constellation of Lyra and will end up as a white dwarf. Just like the sun, vega is mid-age that means its got half more time to go before it dies out as a white dwarf. Vega is only 25 light years away, not very compared to astronomical standards, but very very far away compared to human standards. It has an asteroid belt around it and the star itself has a very rotational speed that causes the buldging in and out at the equator. It is a variable pulsating star. Vega will also become the next pole star in the 13,000 years.
