Description

NGC 2419 is a very interessting globular star cluster, which belongs to our galaxy but is located outside the milky way. It is some times farther away than the Magellanic Cloud and needs 3 billion years to sourround our galayx. Most stars are double as old as our sun. They appear redish. There are 2 populations of stars in the cluster with differing amounts of hydrogen. This is unusual because the current theories of star clusters predict a homogeneous population of stars.

Hope you enjoy,

Christian
