Description

There was a very bright crescent Moon almost directly overhead. Because of the Moon it was

difficult seeing all of the stars in some of the constellations. Normally when the Moon is

directly overhead I don't try to do any imaging. However most of this Winter the sky seems to

have been in a cycle where I have one or two days of clear sky followed by two or three weeks of

cloudy skies so since the sky was clear I decided to image in spite of the Moon. I chose M35

because I hoped it was bright enough to where the Moon would not affect my imaging of

this object. Also I've never imaged this object before so I took this opportunity to cross

another Messier object off my list. With all of that said this is my first attempt at imaging

M35. Enjoy.
