Description

Bulliadus crater (61 km wide) on the western part of Mare Nubium (Sea of Clouds) in the SW quadrant of the moon, with its raised and textured rampart and low radial hills and gullies. Bullialdus is 3.5 km deep whilst it’s central hills rise 1000 metres above the crater floor. Numerous landslips occur in places around the craters inner walls. The hexagonal-shaped smaller craters Bullialdus A (26 km) and Bullialdus B (21 km) lie SSE of the main crater whilst Kӧnig lies to the SW (left). In the upper right is the rim of the lava-flooded impact crater Lubiniesky whose floor has been resurfaced by basaltic lava.
