Description

Like many of the summer constellations, Cepheus is filled with nebulosity and interesting areas. The hydrogen emissions are more subtle than those in Cygnus and seem to be interspersed with dark dust, all backlit by a vibrant field of stars.

In processing this, I did a new-to-me method of adding continuum-subtracted Ha to the broadband image. I really like how this emphasizes the diffuse hydrogen without overpowering the rest of the field.
