Description

As a very early morning target in the scheduler I tried exploratory HOO on the Helix Nebula with the 120mm Esprit and QHY 294M. Guided with 60mm guide scope with about 55 180s subframes with each filter. The faint arc around the Helix is just beginning to show though at 633mm not a lot of detail in the core at this signal level.  Made the HOO image with synthetic green adjust for offset.  As NGC 7293 is stil transiting near 5am local time if skies allow I hope to add a good bit more data and see what happens.  This is a first look with a modest amount of data.  Thanks for looking!  Any advice appreciated.
