NGC 1313 or the Topsy Turvy Galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy 20 million light-years away and 50,000 light-years across in the constellation Reticulum and also lies within the Virgo Supercluster. The galaxy is in a very active state showing many star formation regions in the image. The blue nebulosities are regions emiting ionised oxygen and may harbor clusters with very hot stars.
