Description

This is a lower limb  composite image using two sets of stacked images. One stack captured the Suns surface detail, the other greatly overexposed stack captured the limb Prominence.  Each set used 350 SER files with an exposure of 4.25ms and a gain of 120 for the surface and 290 for the limb. 30 Flat images were stacked and used with the Surface Stack. The images were captured on 16 October 2021 from Iluka in Western Australia between high cloud masses - the seeing was medium to poor.

The ZWO 294MM camera was set for Bin 2 and the frame size was 4144x2822
