Hi all,
"Deep" version of M51 galaxy, made over 8 nights with coronal sky during May 2020 (18/25).
20h+ for the luminance layer : some very faint IFN is visible on the stacked raws, but very hard to highlight on the final result without ruining the overall aspect of background and stars.
For this one, I used for the first time my TSA102 without the reducer (f/8) to have more details in the core of the galaxy.
I saturated colors a bit more than usual... please let me know your thoughts about this ! :)

Voici une des "stars" du ciel du printemps : la galaxie M51.
Pour cette image, j'ai profité des belles nuits du moi de mai ; en l’occurrence de 8 nuits avec un ciel particulièrement propre, aucune humidité et avec une Lune absente ou très faible... et un petit coup de pouce (involontaire ?) de la mairie qui a décidé de ne pas allumer l'éclairage dans le quartier ! :)
L'image est réalisée avec ma TSA-102, mais pour une fois à pleine focale (f/8), sans réducteur, afin de gagner en détails dans la galaxie. Les acquisitions ont été faites avec la AtikOne6, en LRGB-Ha.
32h30 de pose en tout, dont plus de 20h pour la luminance, afin de bien faire ressortir les extensions les plus ténues de ce couple galactique. Un peu d'IFN est même présent, mais particulièrement difficile à faire ressortir sur le résultat final sans altérer fortement le rendu.
Pour les couleurs, c'est un peu plus prononcé que d'habitude, mais je trouve que cette galaxie s'y prête plutôt bien... dites moi ce que vous en pensez !
