Description

THE BLUE HORSEHEAD NEBULA (IC 4592)

The Blue Horsehead Nebula is a faint reflection nebula in the Scorpius constellation that is lit by Nu Scorpii.
The Nebula is about 40 light-years across, located some 420 light-years away near the center of our Milky Way Galaxy.
This image was taken over the span of several evenings last month, totaling almost 20 hours of data acquisition.
