Description

The Trifid nebula (Messier 20) located around 5200 light years away in the constellation Sagittarius. This nebula practically has it all and is a favourite among the visual astronomers and astrophotographers! Showcasing a reflection nebula (blue regions), emission nebula (pink regions), dark nebulosity (dark dust lanes that divide the emission nebula into three lobes) and a star cluster.
Unusually for me, I dedicated three dark sky nights for the LRGB data acquisition. Guess I felt like doing this beauty some justice.
An SHO version is currently underway.
