Description

IC 2602 The Southern Pleiades is a prominent open star cluster in the constellation of Carina about 547 light-years away which contains about 60 stars spread across approximately 50 arc minutes and is easily visible to the naked eye. The brightest member is the blue-white star Theta Carinae which shines at a magnitude of 2.74
