Description

Guiding now fixed I was able to get around 20 great 300s lights and added the two best 600s lights from the last session. I really start to like AstropixelProcessor. Still have to get used to the UI and Workflow but the first results are stunning!

My old problem, image to bright, background looked grainy

Well, had a look at the image on my mobile phone on the astrobin wall and the background was still to bright. Just adjusted levels a bit more to get a darker BG

Inspired by Skywatcher Johnny's NGC7023 I thought I try to bring out some more interstellar dust.

Learned some more about luminosity masks. very useful, here is some more smokey stellar dust :D

Ok ok, I acknowledge and accept that the last versions background was too bright ...sorry for the spam, this is the last version ;)

Time for some more good weather... I am going nuts on my old subs.... However, the new brighter version had to much noise looking at the pic now in the evening, my display is not bright enough during the day to reveal the fine details so I often overdo it. This should now be a lot smoother with still a lot interstellar dust details. Let me know what you think. Best F-

You know the subs are terrible if you keep coming back to them because you are not happy with the result ...

Tried to combine all 300s subs of the Iris I have taken. Due to the bad guiding with my Exos stars are not as round as I like to but that's probably the nicest version now.
