Description

Third image from the Green Bank Star Quest: the Eastern Veil Nebula! It is a supernova remnant up in the constellation of Cygnus, the swan, and lies about 1,470 lightyears away. The supernova occurred sometime between 3,000-6,000 BC, and the disbursed gas has since spread out to be some 100 lightyears across. I only managed to get 3 subframes due to clouds, but it still came out great!
