Description

For me these globular clusters in and around Sagittarius are very hard to image and process.

Most are located in some of the most dense part of the Milky Way and are surrounded by a

super saturated star field. This super saturated star field makes the processing challenging

and that's an under statement. Again please understand that I'm talking about myself. I

must have processed this image 25 times and never got an image that I was completely

satisfied with. What amazes me is I got 3 or 4 images that look completely different. I finally

made the decision that I would probably get a better image if I eliminated some of the stars

in the star field. So that is what I did. I also cranked up the saturation which I don't do a lot

to bring out color in the star field. I'm probably going to go back and redo this when my

brain and my eyes have had time to rest but for now I'm calling my image finished. With

all of that said please enjoy my most recent image of M28.
