Description

I've been wanting to image this object with my AT72ED but I did not intend on imaging it

last night. It's really late when it gets high enough in the sky for me to image so I was going to

wait until a little later in the year. Last night I wanted to try and get a better image of M52 and

the Bubble Nebula. Most of my night was spent taking light frames of M52 and the Bubble Nebula. After taking and examining my light frames of M52 and the Bubble Nebula I could

tell that I was not going to get an acceptable image. It was around 1:30 am and I noticed

that Cassiopeia was high enough in the sky for me to image the Double Cluster. I did not

want to waste my clear night so I decide that I would image the Double Cluster. The Double

Cluster is my favorite cluster to view through an eye piece using a Richfield Refractor. When it

is in season it's the first object I view when star gazing. With all of that said please enjoy

my most recent image of the Double Cluster.

Description: I didn't like the way the color looked when I uploaded my image to Astrobin.
I reprocessed the image to try and get a color I was more pleased with.
