Description

Sep2017 data was 7x900sec on a Canon6D through an f/4 AT8IN, fl=0.8m.
Jan2023 data was 20x180sec on a 1600MM with Astrodon 3nm Ha through a 0.25m f/3.8 newtonian, fl=~1.1m (Ha data is here).

Will update acquisition details as I learn; I'm very new to combining old + new data, as well as differing focal lengths.

I'm leaving "nasty" gradients for now because this image is, for me, a representation of my journey. I'm excited.

Title: (revisiting subs 4.5 years later)

Description: I tried to reprocess the data nearly five years after my first attempt. It's very reassuring to find that I'm learning much more than I sometimes assume of myself.

APP: Heavy LPC & CBG (significant amp glow from Canon6D), CSC.

Title: (working in new Ha data 4.5yrs later)

Description: My first attempt at insetting data from my current scope with that of past GSO scopes. Leaving obvious gradients for now; happy at contemplating both how far I've come and have to go.

APP: Use original stack, mosaic with new Ha data (30x180s), heavy LPC & CBG, CSC, crop.
