Description

The best week so far in the last 2 years from my windowsill. 2018 is turning out to be one of my best nebula season from my windosill. A stable high all week long, with moderate wind. The wind helps blowing the usual smog bowl from the city, so finally proper transperency.

Still a lot of data (around 10h) to finally achieve a proper SNR. The restricted field of view from my windowsill lets me image in a mximum altitude of 35°. So roughly two palms width above the Berlin TV-tower.

Shot with my modified Bresser AR152s, the Bobsilon Veloce. By adding the long Perng 0,6 reducer, the budget achro turns into a 5" light bucket at f2,9. Though only for monochromatic light, therefore this achro is a pure narrowband imager (or solar imaging with an herschel wedge, after taking out the internal reducer)
