Astro-Physics 155 EDF (155TCC) f/5.4 refractor

KAF-16803; FLI Proline

Total Exposure Time: 9.5 hours; LRGB 150:200:70:150 minutes, unbinned

February-March 2009, RDO, Moorook, AU

Comments: With a galactic latitude of 21° and at the distance of 630 pc, CG 12 lies more than 200 pc above the galactic plane. CG 12 has an associated low mass stellar cluster and a reflection nebula, NGC 5367. A strong IRAS point source and a highly collimated outflow indicate that star formation is still on going.
