Comments: I imaged this nebula in 2004 and it became one of my favorite objects. The interplay between the various gas, dust and stars make a truly beautiful panorama. Adding such a large amount of hydrogen alpha data transforms this region bringing out more color and texture. It took me over a year to gather the data; weather and equipment challenges playing their usual roles.

This image was NASA APOD November 26, 2009.
