Description

NGC 6842 is a 13th magnitude planetary nebula in Vulpecula that is not often imaged by amateurs. It has a 16th magnitude central star and an apparent diameter of 57 arcseconds. This image was taken on a very hazy, damp night with water dripping off everything and poor transparency, but the seeing was excellent.
