Description

Observed on 16 September 2015 at the Okie-Tex Star Party with a 12” Skywatcher Dobsonian: Large, bright globular cluster. Similar and close to M12. Class VII. Distance is about 15,000 LY. Found by star hopping from Marfik through M12. Located using finderscope.

Observed on 8 September 2023 at the Okie-Tex Star Party with a 22” Obsession UC Dobsonian: M10 is close to M12 and has a similar look. It is large and bright without much concentration towards the center. Some stars resolved. No colors noted.
