Description

Sh2-240 is a very large supernova remnant on the border of Taurus and Auriga, and lies about 3,000 light-years from Earth. And it's VERY faint!

I obviously need more integration time, and I did capture an additional 3 hours beyond what I've posted here. However, for some reason combining those subs with the first night didn't increase my signal at all - and actually made things look a bit worse. I need to go back and look at all the individual subs to see what might have gone wrong. But - I think I'd need a lot more data to see any significant difference.

This will have to be it for now, though, since it's back to comet-chasing .
