Description

See comments under my Comet Hyakutake 28mm Lens photo. In this case, I shot through a Meade 300mm F/6 spotting scope. The exposure was around 5 minutes long on Konica 3200 ASA film.

Note the "disconnection event" in the tail of the comet, where magnetic field lines streaming back from the coma cancelled one another out.
