Probably my last major project with my modded T3i! This object was completed in a 2-panel mosaic over the summer. I tried a new experiment with this one, attempting 20-minute exposures with my modded T3i in 12nm Ha. My camera sensor stayed in the 35-40C range, but near 40 the noise completely took over. In the end the data was unusable (and the stars slightly elongated), but I now have a much greater understanding of the capabilities of my CGEM mount. Given that I have switched over to a cooled mono-cam for my newer projects, I may attempt more 15-20 minute exposures at wider fields in the future where the focal length is much more forgiving.

Calibration & Stacking:
- Batch Prep Processing to calibrate Lights using Darks, Flats, Bias
- Subframe Selector
- Star Align & Local Normalization
- Drizzle Integration (2x)

Preliminary Processing:
- Dynamic Crop
- Image cloned, ABE ran several times to extract background gradients. Used this cloned-ABE image to place DBE alignment points
- Ran this DBE process on original image several times to remove background gradients
- Extracted Luminance for separate processing

Luminance Processing:
- Deconvolution using Dynamic PSF as well as Star Mask
- John Rista Luminance NR using TGV, then MMT
- Cloned image, one got a standard STF stretch, the other got Masked Stretch using Image Statistics for "Target Background" value. I then averaged the two, and then made a Star Mask and applied the smaller MaskedStretch stars to the averaged stretched image

Color Processing:
- Background Neutralization
- Linear Fit after using Noise Evaluation
- John Rista Chrominance NR using TGV, then MMT
- Masked Stretch using Image Statistics for "Target Background" value

Combined Processing:
- LRGB combination to re-introduce Luminance into color images
- HDRMultiscaleTransform to increase core detail
- 2 passes of ACDNR for final NR
- Curves Transformation for contrast
- Unsharp Mask using StarMask

Photoshop CS6 Final Processing:
- Used Inverted Lum Mask to darken background
- Increased Saturation using Lum Mask
- Contrast enhancement (Carboni's Astronomy Tools)
- Star Reduction (Annie's Action Groups)
