Description

The faint, diffuse structure of galactic cirrus around Polaris is revealed in this relative short exposure. A somewhat spooky dark cloud, LDN 1320, appears towards the bottom right corner of the frame. The beautiful Polarissima Cluster (NGC 188) is also visible, albeit it deserved better framing.

Note that Revision C is a reference survey image, obtained with Stellarium.
