Description

The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy, residing over 2.5 million light-years from us, and is the nearest known galaxy to our Milky-Way Galaxy. This galaxy spans over 110,000 light-years across. Andromeda is so massive that it has 14 dwarf galaxies accompanying it through space.
