Description

Shot from my roof in North London at a focal length of 300mm, this time I just pointed the telescope towards Cygnus, found a spot that seemed to have strong Ha signal (I shoot in narrow band to break through the light pollution) and started shooting. I was testing out my dual scope set up which is my little but very sharp Tak FS60cb paired with my fancy atik 383L+ camera to capture the luminance channel with a narrowband Ha filter and a cheap old Nikon Lens which I used to capture the colour data with my canon 600d.

I think this has potential, I like the fact that it looks like an old renaissance painting. Only about two hours integration time on this one so I can't wait for the weather to clear so I can try again.
