Mars and Neptune conjunction, 20181207

Technical card

Resolution: 1969x1238

Locations: Tranquility Base Observatory, Koksijde, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium

Data source: Backyard

Description

A close conjunction of Mars and Neptune. The image is a combination of three images. First image with the full frame of the ASI290MC where Mars (magnitude 0) was overexposed and Neptune (magnitude 8) was visible. I then made a separate smaller image sequence of well exposed Mars and one for Neptune and combined these with the first image. So the separation and the image sizes are true.
